Dr Inderpreet Kaur graduated in Law in 2005 and completed her post-graduation with a specialization in Criminal Law in 2007 from the Department of Law, Punjabi University, Patiala. She completed her Ph.D. in 2014on the topic ‘Emerging Trends of Compensatory Jurisprudence with special Reference to Plea Bargaining under Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973’ also from Punjabi University. With more 10 years of teaching experience, Dr Inderpreet Kaur was the first Junior Research fellow of Department of Law at Punjabi University, Patiala. She has authored numerous research papers published in various UGC Care Listed and Reputed Journals and has presented papers at various International and National Seminars and Conferences. She has guided around 16 LL.M students in their dissertation work and has authored a book titled ‘’The Emerging Trends of Compensatory Jurisprudence in India’.

Dr Indu Bala is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Army Institute of Law, Mohali. She completed her Master of Laws from Punjabi University, Patiala, where she was awarded a University Gold Medal. Her Ph.D. research focused on topic ‘Legal Protection to Refugees with special reference to Tibetan Diaspora in India’. She has also qualified the UGC-NET exam and has a strong interest in teaching and research. She has authored two books, published several research papers in international and national journals, and presented her research at various international and national seminars and conferences.

Mrs. Jasdeep Brar has been a dedicated educator since 2011, teaching English, fostering language skills and critical thinking among her students. She holds a Master's and an M.Phil. in English from the Department of English, Punjabi University Patiala, and has successfully qualified the UGC-NET examination. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Post-colonial Studies in English Literature, with a keen interest in exploring the intersections of colonial history, gender, and identity in literature.

She is actively engaged in academic discourse, presenting research papers at national and international conferences, and participating in recent faculty development programs, seminars, and workshops to further enrich her academic journey. Her research interests extend beyond post-colonial studies to include feminist studies, Indian writing in English, and public speaking.

Shivanshi has completed her BA LLB (Hon's) in 2016, from University Institute of legal studies, HPU, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Thereafter, she did her LLM in Business Laws in 2018, from the Department of laws, Himachal Pradesh University. At present she is pursuing PHD on the topic “Legal and Policy Framework for Regulating Women Entrepreneurship in India: A Study with Special Reference to The State of Himachal Pradesh”, from the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

She has done professional training and certificate courses related to IPR and Entrepreneurship from prestigious institutions like the West Bengal National University of Juridical sciences and National institute for entrepreneurship and small business development.

She has also qualified UGC-NET and has participated in more than 20 National as well as international seminars and conferences. She has published various Socio-legal research papers in UGC listed and peer reviewed journals. She has also written book chapters published in various edited books.

She completed her graduation (BALLB) and masters in law (LLM) from Punjabi University Patiala. She has been awarded the University Medal in LLM from Punjabi University Patiala. She has qualified for UGC-NET. She has a teaching experience of 2 years 4 months from Chandigarh University, Mohali.

She is pursuing PhD from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. The topic of her research is 'Artificial Intelligence in healthcare: Ethical and Legal issues'.

Her area of interest is Constitutional Law and Criminal Law. She has presented papers in various National and International Conferences and Seminars.

Gurleen Kaurhas teaching experience of four years before joining Army Institute of Law. She has completed Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from MCM DAV, Chandigarh.

She did her graduation in law from Department of Laws, Panjab University. Thereafter, she went on to pursue her LL.M in Corporate Law from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law where she received Gold Medal for Excellent Academic Achievement. Presently, she is pursuing PhD from Department of Laws, Panjab University.

She is UGC-NET qualified and has presented various papers in International & National conferences and seminars.

Mr. Amit Kumar did his B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M. (Constitutional & Administrative Law) from Kurukshetra University, Kuruskshetra. He is NET and JRF qualified. He is pursuing his Ph.D. on the topic "Constitutional Supremacy in India : A Critical Study". Formerly, he has worked as a 'Law Researcher' at Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

He has authored two books namely “Laws on Passport in India” and “Commentary on Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985”.

He has got many research papers published in reputed national and international journals and has also presented his papers in many national and international Seminar. He has also contributed chapters in various books.

Dr. Alamdeep Kaur, along with a Masters in English, is a merit holder for Bachelors of Law from Punjabi University, Patiala. She has obtained a Doctorate Degree in the field of 'Social Media and Law' from much respected Panjab University, Chandigarh. She has 11 years of teaching experience. Previously she has worked at Rajiv Gandhi national University of Law and University Institute of legal studies, Panjab university, Chandigarh. She has also worked at Regional Institute of English, Chandigarh.

She has contributed to many journals and edited books of national and international repute. She has participated in and co-cordinated many conferences, seminars, events, television/print interviews, live sessions and panel discussions.

Dr Tejinder Kaur is associated with the institute for the last 18 years. She was the Officiating Principal of the Institute from 2nd August 2012 to 14th May, 2019. The institute has carved a forte in the field of legal education. In recognition of her dedicated services to the institute, she has been awarded with the Army Commander Commendation Card on 15 Aug 2015 and Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card on 26 Apr 2016.

She has taken over as Principal on 15th May, 2019.

Dr Tejinder Kaur specializes in inter-disciplinary fields. Sheis M.A., M.Phil (Sociology), LL.B, LL.M and Doctorate in Law from Panjab University, Chandigarh and UGC NET qualified.She is actively involved in teaching and research with many publications to her credit and has presented papers at various National Seminars/Conferences. She is guiding and supervisor of LL.M & Ph.D. scholars.

For her Doctorate, she worked on the topic "Uniform Civil Code: A Perspective Socio- Legal Study" under the able guidance of Prof Veer Singh, former Vice
Chancellor of NALSAR, Hyderabad.

Dr. Amita Sharma has been teaching the discipline of Sociology for the last 22 years. She joined Army Institute of Law in 2004. Now it has been more than 18 years of her association with AIL. Prior to Army Institute of law, she has taught at SD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh for three years and has also taught at Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 33, Chandigarh as lecturer of Sociology for two years. She did her Post Graduation from Panjab University from the Department of Sociology and received gold medal for standing first. She qualified UGC Test for lectureship. She received Diploma in Population Education from Panjab University, Chandigarh and stood third in the course. She has also done her Masters in Education. She completed her Doctorate on the topic of Problems of Elderly Abuse. She has published various articles in national and international journals which shed light on various topics like an overview of Perspectives on Elder Abuse in India, Protection of Right to Maintenance and Welfare of Old Age Persons in India, Problem of Elder Abuse in Chandigarh, An Indian Perspective on Violence Against Women, Review of the Role of Socio-Psychological Characteristics in Mediating Social Structural Effects on the Experience of Anger by Adults. She is the coordinator of ACRSS. She has worked as a coordinator and successfully organized various events like Alumni meet, AIL ANNUAL/ AWES DAY, convocation, blood donation camps etc.She has also worked as a Cultural Coordinator and guided students to participate in various inter college and intra college cultural competitions.She is a member of Board of Studies (faculty of social sciences), Sociology department, Punjabi University, Patiala. Dr.Gagandeep Dhaliwal has been associated with Army Institute of Law since 2004. She is M.A, M.Phil and PhD in the discipline of Political Science. She qualified UGC Test for lecturership. She has been in the field of teaching for 17 years. She has published 7 research articles in various national and international journals which dwell upon issues like role of National Human Rights Commission and the Constitution of India, Indian perspective on violence against women ,effectiveness of National Human Rights Commission in the context of women rights etc. Besides this she has published two articles in books which touched upon topics like position of human rights of the child in India. She has presented 16 papers at various national and international conferences which were on issues like Good Governance as a Right of citizens, an overview of Aged politicians in India, position of UN Millennium Development Goal -to promote gender equality and empower women in India, role of education and educationist in millennium Development Goal of UNO, Women 's political participation in India, National commission's work towards eliminating violence against marginalized communities in the backdrop of Punjab's culture, Religion In Indian Politics Over The Centuries signaling a need for political reform, political participation of Women in India with special reference to grass root Politics etc. Having been at AIL for 15 years she has performed her duties as the presiding officer as well as the member of several administrative boards at AIL. Dr. Bajirao Anant Rajwade has been associated with the Army Institute since August 2003. After completing his Law degree from the Punjab University in 1992, he joined the Punjab and Haryana High Court with the then additional public prosecutor Mr. R S Rai. He completed his LLM in 1997 and joined PhD under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. D N Jauhar. After finishing his Doctoral degree in 2003, he has been teaching at AIL till date. Dr. Kulpreet Kaur Bhullar did her graduation in Law from Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She completed her LL.M with specialization in Commercial and Corporate Laws from Kings College University of London, United Kingdom. She pursued research on the topic of Recognition and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in International Commercial Arbitration: A study with reference to India and obtained her Ph.D. Degree from Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Dr. Kulpreet has more than ten years of teaching experience. She has written number of research papers which are published in reputed journals and have also presented papers in various International and National Seminars/Conferences. Dr Kulpreet has obtained advanced diploma in Intellectual Property Law from WIPO. She has also successfully organized national seminars and moot competition at national levels.

Dr. Puja Jaiswal graduated in law from India's one of the most premier law institute- Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She obtained her Ph.D. Degree in the year 2011 as regular research fellow from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

Dr. Puja is having more than nine years of teaching, research and administrative experience. In legal Education, she served at The ICFAI University, Dehradun; Law College, Uttranchal University Dehradun; and UILS, Chandigarh University and administrative experience with Women and Child Development Department, Govt. of Haryana.

She has a deep interest in research and has got many articles and research papers published in reputed journals and have also presented various research papers in various International and National Seminars/Conferences. She has contributed chapters in edited books also. She has successfully organized various para-academic activities/programs like national seminars, moot competitions, panel discussions, debate, poster making competition etc.

With a ten year teaching experience, Dr Sheetal Kapoor is MA, MPhil and a Doctorate in English from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She completed her Doctoral Research in Film Studies focusing on the projection of women in Indian Cinema and an analysis and interpretation of the Ideological framework of films. Her other research interests include Post- Colonial Literature, Culture Studies, Feminist Studies, Literary Theory and Criticism with special reference to the ideas of Michel Foucault and Edward Said. Having done her FTII and NFAI, Pune Film Course, she also takes avid interest in the critical appreciation of films and makes it an essential part of her teaching pedagogy, thereby facilitating students' comprehension of Literature. She has been associated with the Army Institute of Law for the past seven years and is presently teaching English and History.

Dr Ekjyot Kaur Gujral is associated with teaching from 2012 onwards. She did her B.A.(Hons) in Geography from Khalsa College, Ludhiana and her Masters in Economics from Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh and has completed her PhD in Economics in 2023.

Her areas of interest are Indian Economy and Human Resource Development. She has been teaching Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy and Development Economics. She is also teaching Legal History from 2013 onwards. She has presented research papers at national and international conferences and has a few paper publications to her credit.

Apart from teaching, she is the IQAC coordinator and part of Data Management committee of the institute. She manages the data for the national rankings of the Institute by various government and other agencies.

Dr Amrita Rathi is associated with Army Institute of Law from 2015. She did her graduation (2011) and post-graduation (2013) from BPS Women University, Sonepat. She did her B.Ed. from MDU, Rohtak in 2014. She is UGC-NET Qualified (2014). She also did distance learning General certificate course on Intellectual Property from WIPO Academy (2013).

She completed her Ph.D. Degree (2021) on A Critical study of the Law against Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace from Department of Laws, Punjab University, Chandigarh. The research is empirical and includes male, female and third gender (1100 respondents) from various departments, educational institutes and private sector of Chandigarh. She has also authored a book on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace. She is currently pursing another post-graduation on Psychology from IGNOU.

She has a deep interest in research and has got many articles and research papers published in reputed journals and have also presented various research papers in various International and National Seminars/Conferences. She has contributed chapters in edited books also. Dr Amrita Rathi is presently teaching Legal History, Law relating to Information Technology and Right to Information, Gender Justice and Drafting at the Army Institute of Law, Mohali. Her primary areas of interest in studies and research are Human rights and Women Laws.

Dr. Kirandeep Kaur completed her B.A. LLB from the Calcutta University, Department of Law; LLM from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata; and Ph.D. in Law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She is UGC NET Qualified.

Dr. Kirandeep Kaur has worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Women and the Law at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NLSIU, Bangalore) for the TATA-POWER-CSR Project. She was then appointed and worked as a Teaching Associate at NLSIU, Bangalore; and was later appointed and worked as Assistant Professor (Ad. hoc.) at NLSIU, Bangalore. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Law (Ad. hoc.) at the University School of Law, Rayat Bahra University, Mohali.

Dr. Kirandeep Kaur joined the Army Institute of Law in July, 2017. She has been teaching Labour and Industrial Laws; Health Law; and Aviation Law and Air Traffic Management at the Army Institute of Law, Mohali. She has authored a book on "Transplantation of Human Organs & Tissues in India - legal perspective" which was published in 2018. Her scholarly publications include chapters published in various books of reference, articles published in various reputed international and national Journals. Her areas of interest in research and publication include Labour and Industrial Laws; Health Law; Women and the Law; and Aviation Law.

Dr. Harpreet Kaur graduated in law in 2010 and did her post graduation from GNDU, Amritsar in 2012. She obtained her Ph.D. Degree in the year 2018 as regular research fellow from Punjabi University, Patiala. Dr. Harpreet is having more than five years of teaching, research and administrative experience. She has a deep interest in research and has got many articles and research papers published in reputed journals and have also presented various research papers in various International and National Seminars/Conferences. Dr. Anmolpreet graduated in Law in 2010 and did her post graduation from GNDU, Amritsar in 2012. She completed her Ph.D. Degree in the year 2021 from Department of Law, Punjabi University, Patiala. She has more than five years of teaching, research and administrative experience.

Dr. Anmolpreet has a deep interest in research and has got many articles and research papers published in reputed journals and have also presented various research papers in various International and National Seminars/Conferences. She has contributed chapters in edited books also.

Shaifali Dixit has done her LLB and LLM from, Department of Laws, Punjab University Chandigarh and is also pursuing Ph.D. in Law from, Department of Laws, Punjab University Chandigarh. She is having a regular teaching experience of more than 5 years as an Assistant Professor (Law) and has taught at School of Law, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara (for 3.5 years), St. Soldier Law Collage, Jalandhar (for 1.5 year) and currently teaching at Army Institute of Law, Mohali. She has been a convener of various National Level Moot Court Competitions, published/ presented more than 15 research papers and has been a merit holder at graduation level. She has also taught LLM Students in the specialization of Criminal Law, supervised two dissertations and has been an active member of University Curricular Development and Research Committee in her previous organization. Ms. Tanvir Dhaliwal completed her graduation in law from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2017. Thereafter, she went on to pursue her masters in Criminal Law from NALSAR, Hyderabad. During her masters, she conducted a rights-based analysis of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill, 2016 and has also done research in various disciplines like Public law, Legal Theory and Criminal law. Additionally, she holds a PG Diploma in Media laws from NALSAR. She is UGC-NET certified, has a rich teaching experience and was formerly associated with institutions like Chandigarh University, Rayat Bahra University. She joined Army Institute of Law as an Assistant Professor in August 2020 and has taught Banking law, Land laws and Private International Law.

Upagya Sharma completed her graduation in law from Army Institute of Law, Mohali in 2010. Thereafter, she went on to pursue her LL.M from Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh where her field of study was surrogacy; and is presently pursuing PhD from the aforementioned department.

She is UGC-NET qualified and has presented various papers in International & National conferences and seminars.

Dr. Vibhuti Jaswal has done B.A.LL.B. from Army Institute of Law, Mohali (Punjab). She has done LL.M. and Ph.D. from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. In LL.M., she stood first and bagged the University Gold Medal. In LL.M. Course, she also received "RGNLU Medal of Excellence in Specialization (First Position in Specialization of Constitutional Law)"; "Surana and Surana Medal for Academic Excellence", and "Late Sh. C.B. Sharma, and Smt. S.D. Sharma Medal for the Best Girl Student".

She has authored two books. One book is on "Right to Privacy on the Social Networking Sites in India: An Analytical Study". She is Co-author of a Book on "Environmental Law", and this book has been referred by the Supreme Court of India.

Dr. Vibhuti is a keen researcher, and she has published Research Papers in UGC CARE List Journals and contributed Chapters in various books. She has also been participating in various National and International Conferences/Seminars/Workshops. She closely watches all National and International developments in the area of Environment Protection and the Law. She has also been participating in various extra-curricular activities, moot competitions etc.
