AIL participation at IISER FEST’ MOHALI-INSOMNIA( 2-6 th Oct’2024)

12 students participated in INSOMNIA-2022 organised by IISER Mohali between 2 nd to 6 th Oct’2024. A total of 21 students participated in various events like Dancing, Singing, sketching, monodrama and slam Poetry.

  • Gaurang Takkar (2178) won first prize in solo-singing.
  • Aamodi Joglekar (24019) won first prize in classical dance(solo)
  • Shambhavi (2264) won 2 nd prize in monodrama.
  • Shreesh Dubey (2204) won special mention in monodrama.

    BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT AIL MOHALI

    A Blood Donation Camp was organized in the institute by AIL Cultural Society in collaboration with the Rotary & Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Sector-37, Chandigarh on 19th September 2024. It was inaugurated by Brig Vineet Mittal, OIC AIL. The camp saw a very good response whereby 44 students successfully donated their blood. The donors were given refreshments. The Blood Bank Society issued certificates to the donors.


    Talent Competition organized by AIL Cultural Society

    AIL Cultural Society organized a Talent Competition which was held on 08th August 2024. Students from each batch participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. Each group was given 15 minutes to showcase their talent. Students performed activities consisting of song rendition and dance. The performances were judged on the basis of theme, selection of the songs and synchronization. The winners and runners up teams were felicitated by Principal AIL, Dr Tejinder Kaur and the results are as follows: -

    Singh (2010) ,Kanishka Chopra(2065), Karan singh Gaira (2025),Ashwarya Patney (2071) and Astha
    Bansal(2176)were adjudged as Runners-up of the Swaranjali (Group singing) event. Priyanshu
    Tiwari (1956) was adjudged as the Winner of duetto and the Pool Championship

    The students participated in INSOMNIA-2022 organised by IISER Mohali between 14-16th October
    2022. A total of 21 students participated in various events like Dancing, Singing, Mandala Art, Rang-eRoyal, Mask Painting and Slam Poetry. Aditya Dev(2107) and Naaz  Puri (2200) of 2nd year were
    adjudged Winners of Solo Singing and Solo Dancing respectively. Mehek (2228), Radha( 2213) in 1st
    year and Bharti (1908) in the 4th year were declared the Runners-Up  in Slam poetry, Mandala art and
    Mask Painting respectively.
