Army Institute of Law, Mohali hosted the students and faculty members from the
School of Eminence, Mohali (Phase 11). The students of the school were oriented about the
viability of law as a subject as well as a career option.
The members of the Legal Aid Cell and Eco Club of the institute interacted with the
students and answered their queries. The students were also taken on a tour of the campus,
where they were told about various ‘green initiatives’ of the institute.
The institute had also arranged refreshments for the students and their faculty

On September 12, 2024, the Army Institute of Law hosted an engaging intra-institute debate competition. Initially, 30 teams registered, and through a first-come, first-served process, 14 teams were selected. Preliminary eliminations on September 10 resulted in the advancement of 7 teams to the finals. The final round featured an innovative twist, with each team granted an extra minute to present a slide, enhancing their ability to convey ideas.The panel of judges included Dr. Vinita Singh, Senior Admission Consultant at MBA and Beyond, a Singapore-based company, Sh. Gurcharan Singh, Faculty Cyber Crime, Central Detective Training Institute, Chandigarh, and, Mrs. Vipanjot Sehdeva, Principal Doon International School, New Chandigarh provided insightful evaluations throughout the competition, ensuring a rigorous and stimulating debate environment. Rebecca Kanwar (2015) emerged as the Best speaker receiving a cash prize of 1000/- and a certificate. Amishi Shukla (2338) and Aaradhya Sharma (2382) emerged as runner-up receiving a cash prize of 3200/- and a certificate. Rebecca Kanwar (2015) and Yoshita Dahiya (2016) emerged as winners, receiving a cash prize of 4200/-, running trophies and certificates.

Ms. Simran Singh Rathi ( Ist Year, Roll no 2003) won First prize in the 5th NUJS SACJ Qriosity Quiz 2021- National Criminal Law Quiz Competition, organised by National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata. She has been awarded with a cash prize of Rs 2000/-.
Ms. Sonu Parmar (4th year) secured third position, winning a cash award of Rs 15,000 and e-certificate in the paper presentation competition organised by General Insurance Council on the theme"Speedy Settlement of Motor Road Accident (Third party) claims- A Legal Framework" On Feb 13th 2021.

AIL team comprising of Kainat Singh and Omvir Singh of 5th year participated in the Global Rounds of the 12th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition held from 19 Sep–10 Dec 2020. The team won the Best Memorial award and Kainat Singh was declared the 3rd Best Speaker. AIL team was Quarter-finalist and 6th Best (Overall) team.
